Both Otoe and Gofar Bar were AAA rated horses on the racetrack as well as both earning an AQHA Championship.
Sugar Bars grandson, Sugar Vaquero, was the 1973 National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) World Champion Cutting Horse and a member of the NCHA Hall of Fame.
Sugar Bars was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame.
